Perform
Live shows are the heart of BYP. We prioritize younger bands and artists looking for their first big break. But we also love mixing newbs with vets on the same stage to keep things interesting!
Volunteer
Run the door, sell concessions, help with load-in, running live sound, selling merch: every volunteer shift is a real-world production education. If you've got a few hours to spare and want to be part of the movement, we have a spot for you.
Photo & Video
BYP shows produce some of the best live music photography in LA. Whether stills or video, come shoot with us. Photos are always credited, shared, and part of our permanent archive.
Write
We publish show reviews, artist spotlights, and community stories through our various press partners. If you write about music — or want to start — we'll hook you up.
Donate Gear
Instruments, amps, PA gear, lighting, recording equipment — we need it all, and none of it comes cheap. Our backline takes a beating, and we rely on donations to keep the show on the road. If you have gear to donate, we would love to put it to good use.
Spread The Word
Tell a friend. Tell a kid. Tell a parent. The most powerful thing anyone can do for a budding music scene is show up — and bring someone with you. Word of mouth is how scenes are built.
